Bringing fans closer to their heroes
than ever before
White-label pitch // Juventus online player profiles
Working with a white-label data company and approaching Juventus (and several of Europe's leading football clubs), the challenge was to use cutting-edge data to create dynamic, engaging content for fans, bringing them closer to their heroes.
Always ahead of the game
Research shows that many fans in desired markets such as Asia and America, tend to follow players rather than teams; when Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus, the allegiances of his fans switched too, as shown in a surge of popularity on the Juve social media channels (and alleged decline in Real’s).
The engagement potential of player profile pages can be incredibly important for this audience to ensure they have access to dynamic and meaningful content, and also as a marketing and partnership tool that aligns with the ‘digital-first’ and ‘lifestyle’ values of the new Juventus brand.
In an age of global superstars and fanbases, and 24/7 access to information, fans want to feel closer to their heroes more than ever.
These player profile pages are designed to bring the fan as close as possible to these stars, in the form of biographies, statistics, profiles and media content, whilst also acting as a marketing tool that aligns with the ‘digital-first’ and ‘lifestyle’ values of the Juventus brand.
Building on the content already available, the fan experience is enhanced with simple animations alluding to a live and an up-to-date experience.
Relevant statistics are tailored to the individual playing position of the player, and are initially presented at a top line level, which can be explored further to cater for the interests of the audience. Initially presented as the current season, these can be filtered to document the playing history of the player by season, Juve career or total career.
The player profile is completed with the full biography, videos, news, image galleries and trophy cabinet.
